Fine Home Design

Having been a home builder, William Gottlieb knows what a builder needs in a plan to ensure the most accurate estimate and smoothest construction process. Our plans are drawn specifically to provide all the information the builder and plans examiner look for—in a format that is clear and easy to read.

  • Standard notes are shown on each floor plan sheet, so there's no need to refer to other sheets.
  • Window, door and header sizes are shown at the openings—not on a separate schedule.
  • Beams and girder trusses are keyed directly to calculations, which makes the plans examiner's job easier.
  • Bearing posts are called out on floor plans and shown on all relative structural drawings.
  • Floor and roof framing plans are on separate sheets, and are shown with all of the walls and beams below—just as the framer would see it on the job. Each framing member is shown in its exact position.
  • Electrical plans are also shown on separate sheets.
